Sons of Guilliman, As rumours abound of the coming of Tzeentch's daemonic legions, the treacherous Thousand Sons, and even their twisted Daemon-Primarch Magnus, the Ultramarines and their successors must stand firm and fight to defend the Imperium and its people from the inevitable onslaught. Round up your neophytes, fire up your forges, arm your battle-brothers! The time of ending is near and the sons of Guilliman shall not be found wanting... Start: Thursday 1st December @ 00:01 GMT/UTC End: Saturday 31st December @ 23:59 GMT/UTC How it works: 1) You look at your collection and pick at least one model to paint. The selected models can be assembled, undercoated and basecoated with their main colour. No more. If unsure, ask me. I reserve the right to disqualify models which do not stick to this rule. 2) Take a picture of these models, upload it to an online gallery (preferably B&C), and post it in this thread along with a vow stating the number of models to complete by the 31st Dec and any other details you deem to be relevant (be creative). Once you've made your vow, no changes to it can be made unless I approve those changes (so send me a PM if you need to change something). 3) Paint the models to at least a basic, three-colour standard within the given timeframe (no obligation to base the models but highly encouraged). The colour scheme must be either from the Ultramarine Chapter/Legion, an official successor, or a DIY successor. No other Chapters shall be allowed. 4) Once finished, take the best pictures you possibly can, upload them, and post them here for all to see. 5) Patiently wait the end of the event and the publication of the end results. 6) Potentially win a nifty prize (!). Prizes: Since the festive season is upon us (and I have too much stuff just lying around, bereft of love and attention), I have decided to give out prizes. There are three "categories": most models painted (whole event), best painted vow, and a randomly selected Frater who will win a prize (winners of previous two categories not eligible). The nature of the prizes shall not be disclosed until a later date but I'll make sure it's something cool, useful to the person, and hobby-related in each case. Once the winners have been declared, they have seven (7) days to contact me via PM with a full name and address to which I can send the prizes to. If they fail to contact me in that time, the prize shall be given to the runner-up. I am the sole judge of this contest and so any decision made is final (though if need be I shall seek advisors). Ranks: The ranking system used in the previous event shall be in effect for this event, too (link incoming). DISCLAIMER: The prize-giving is a one-off thing that I am organising personally. DO NOT expect any other B&C event to have prizes. There's a very good chance you'll be sorely disappointed. Last but not least, if you have any questions, feel free to ask them here or to PM me! For this muster, I will fully paint and base: 1 x Legion Veteran Tactical Squad; 1 x Fulmentarus Terminator Squad; 1 x Legion Rapier Quad Mortar (maybe not base) Courage and Honour my Brothers! I whole heartedly approve . Dos, if you're unsure about the judging and the PM system can handle it, you could put it to a private vote from all participants? In that time I shall provide at least one 'start' picture of my model and one 'finish' picture of my completed model before the given deadline.
