Halandaar Posted February 12, 2017 Author Share Posted February 12, 2017 Failed to update here after posting in the L&T thread, so here are my "completed" Exalted Sorcerers (40K) // Librarian Consuls (30K) http://i1359.photobucket.com/albums/q797/halandaar/Warhammer/30K%20%2040K%20-%20Thousand%20Sons/9E7C1FE8-CC70-41FC-87EE-B13D4FD952FF_zpsw5s3woce.jpg I started work on the Terminators, who will be Scarab Occult in 40K and Sekhmet in 30K, although I already built them with a couple of 40K specific loadouts (Hellfyre MIssiles and Soulreaper Cannon), so those guys will have to sit out in 30K games. That also means I need another box to fill out the unit, what a shame! Yesterday rather than painting, I spent some time bashing together a Legion Veteran Tactical Squad. It's mostly the Rubric kit with weapons, heads and accessories from the MKIV kit, although there are a couple of bits from the Exalted Sorcerer kit in there too. Quite liking how these are turning out, although I am a few bits short (mostly backpacks) so an eBay spree will be required. http://i1359.photobucket.com/albums/q797/halandaar/Warhammer/30K%20%2040K%20-%20Thousand%20Sons/28CF6E8B-D0EE-4365-A4B8-FFE082E0F65F_zpstpxtcxoi.jpg Of course, procrastination is much more enjoyable than painting so I've been thinking about the Khenetai Occult Blades; I'm not super keen on the preview of the upgrade kit from the Heresy Weekender (specifically the Force Blades which I don't really like the design of) so I've been trying to come up with a solution. So far i'm thinking: Legs - Something running to change the look from the other units, Vanguard Veterans // Assault Squad // Raptors (for the trim) are all considerations. Torsos - Rubric or possibly the Exalted Sorcerer torsos with the ribbons flying around everywhere, again to change the silhouette and show a bit more movement. Heads - FW Achean upgrade set Weapons - Grey Knight Nemesis Falchions Backpacks - Probably Rubric Marines seeing as I have 10 spare Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
