I really love that paint scheme! I prefer SWs looking grim and gritty = grimdark colors! Nicely done.

Awesome assault wolves there. And that destroyer will look just as good I'm certain.
Smile like Dynat when you're winning !
Fantastic work bro! I love the Destroyers

Space Wolves are badasses that operate just barely within the rules. 13th Co. didn't even know there were rules applying to how badass they could be. DepthCharge on the Space Wolves
I'm so pleased that GW have gone to such great lengths to produce these awesome Space Wolves basing kits. Wraithwing on the Thousand Sons Rubic Marine release
"The Fell Hand is a name that has been passed on through out the Legion. When one warrior bearing it died, the name is left to be earned by another. Thus it was passed from Floki to Volund to Erik to Geigor. And then the tradition died, because Bjorn got the name and proceeded to live for 10
millenia." - Sagas of the Wolf Priests. Wispy

I love the really weathers look that you have going on with them.
Do you use a sponge or do you do it by brush? Saw these over on fb too. Simply amazing.
You mean the recipe for the power armour? If you ever use it, shoot a picture and let me know how it wentHot damn this is what I want for my Wolves, thanks for the recipe as the one in the Burning of Prospero painting guide is too light and clean for me.
Gorgeous VIth Legion.
Hmmm, now I have the same mental image... and I like it!The Drstroyer with the rad launcher gave me the mental image of him firing upon a wounded foe on the ground
Thanks, I use a sponge. The trick is to first do the highlight tone, and after that the dark colour (rhinox hide diluted with lahmian medium in this case). If you do it the other way round, it doesnt work too nicely.I love the really weathers look that you have going on with them.

These look just how the Wolves should; brutal, vicious and unstoppable. Great work!
GREAT looking Wolves so far, dude! You have achieved a marvelously gritty finish for them - wow!
Also, thanks for sharing the recipe. May I ask, why the wash of Lahmian Medium? It's just pigment-less paint, so it shouldn't change the colour or texture of the surface, which makes me super curious; why add it? Let us know please!

Aha! So it's to downplay the surface tension so the wash's capillary action is reduced. Nice. I've had the same effect with Vallejo Matt Varnish (which you can get in large bottles) - perhaps that's a cheaper alternative for you?
Keep up the great work on those wolves!
Hmm, the lahmian medium/ matte varnish idea sounds like something I could have done with on my current batch of models, as my diluted washes kept disappearing into the recesses which was a pain.
Very nice job on the Proteus, looking forward to the Pred.
