Lutum is reclaimed for the Golden Throne, the heresies of Nadoun and his lackeys put to the torch - but all is not well. The Inquisition has traced the cause of rebellion to the nearby Ioria system and worse still to meddling xenos. Mustering the forces of the Imperial Guard once more they are tasked with cleansing Ioria of the alien taint no matter the cost to the planet and its long forgotten inhabitants.

Yet it is not so simple. Something has drawn the Dark Eldar to Ioria, something important enough to keep them there and to foster schemes against His devoted servants to keep them away. As a call is put out to the Guard so is a summons for aid to all Ordos of the Inquisition. Whatever is on Ioria must be kept from xenos hands at the least, but the Inquisitors may harbour different thoughts on how...

The sins of heresy. The taint of xenos. A mystery that must be unveiled. Will your regiment answer the call? Is your Inquisitor ready to put themselves into the most dangerous of investigations?

Following directly from Assault on Lutum, the second barracks narrative Campaign begins! Three consecutive phases where you may pledge for the Guard, Inquisition or both! Send your armies and characters to face the treacherous xenos on Ioria and write some B&C history. As you successfully complete vows so will their victories build in the narrative. Fail and risk defeat... or worse.

All together the vows made will dictate the success of the Guard and Inquisition, and the crusade on Ioria in general. For the best - the position of Lord Commander for the Guard and the shadowy Inquistor Lord from Assault on Lutum are up for claiming. Full details may be found in the barracks Cleansing of Ioria topic.

As the special guests for this Campaign, the Inquisition also has it's own goal to complete. What is drawing the xenos to Ioria? Can the Inquisition discover the truth and foil the alien schemes? Perhaps your Inquisitor has their own designs on the fate of this curiosity... there's only one way to find out msn-wink.gif
