Who may at some stage fight each other for supremacy (sengoku jiddai) with house toho coming out on top in the end (even if minamoto moritsugo of house minamoto helps them get there) In canonverse, there are normally several knight houses that come from a single world, but I'm not aware of houses that are subdivided into anything other than dynastic branches Also, don't forget: family name first ;) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

There are many clans of various sizes which all head to the House of Minamoto, who saved them all. Toho might be some hero of their past, therefore they unite under Minamotos rule as the Shogun and calling their combined force Toho. Not quite definite. Here, the 47 Ronin cling to the old tradition and their former emperor. They rebell against Minamotos atempt to save their world by allying with the Imperium. Although this rebellion is scattered, most of the renegades can escape. Minamoto is able to establish peace and unity but behind his back, sympathisers of the old ways wait for their opportunity to strike. Regarding Toho, most of their stock is made of Paladins, which combine melee and ranged attack in the best way. Samurai were known to be both, outstanding swordsmen and very potent archers. That's why I think suits combining those treads would be the best fitting for Toho. I've dealt this in a separate word document for House Toho. Just realized that it's latest version is on my computer at work. As I'm on vacation until sunday, I'll send both, Toho and Gojira nex week to you, ok Blunt? bluntblade Posted May 25, 2017 Share Posted May 25, 2017 (edited) For Gojira, Grifft has some recommendations: I would figure on Gojira having primarily larger titans ie things that can literally go head-to-head with the biggest of enemies and punch their faces in. (Although I believe Rex Monstra is a Warlord, that class could form the core of Gojira's strength) I believe that all the titans over the Warhound have access to titan combat weapons, which kinda makes sense as the Warhounds are primarily a scout and flanking force in the titan legions. The Reavers and Warlords are the ones that go straight in and face off against the foe directly. Then there are Imperators which are mostly unique constructions and are IMO better suited to being walking artillery pieces as their speed (or lack thereof) and relative clumsiness makes it difficult to engage in hand to hand brawling. A unusual weapon combination that Gojira could employ is a Reaver with dual combat weapons and a carapace mounted Inferno gun for close range anti-infantry. The inferno gun would allow it to sweep away the defenders of enemy titans (or equivalents) and also allow it to operate without the normally necessary Secutarii ground forces. While the dual combat weapons would allow it to get up close and personal with bigger enemies and mash them up. It's a pretty specialist combination, but one particularly well suited to facing other titans doubly so if they face off in an area of dense terrain such as a hive city where ranged weapons are of less value due to lack of line of sight and the buildings scrambling sensors (That sounds kickass. Could it be a thing for a Warlord too, if it's got substantial shoulder-mounted weapons and the head-mounted plasma/flame weapon we all wanted for Rex Momstra?) Also maybe, if it's not too OP, it could have two fire profiles, one for a unfocused "Flamer" style blast and the other for a focused "Melta" style beam? I could see the Kaiju incursions altering their society quite drastically Probably very unorthodox, I imagine in the fight to survive under the regular Kaiju attacks they'd sacrifice a fair bit of the pomp and ceremony that most Forge Worlds have for the same of expediency, you can't spend an hour going through the appropriate rituals of supplication and veneration when there's a giant xeno monstrosity knocking down the forge-cathedral around you. Any unnecessary or costly ritual would probably either be simplified or outright abandoned in the name of efficiency, saving time and resources. A great deal of their society and infrastructure would likely be geared towards war material and Titan production to keep the forges safe and support the fight against the Kaiju.
