There are some in the background, right next to Angron.

Let us avoid it, alright?

Spotted Angron in today's email. Part of the Saturnine cover perhaps?

gallery_88285_16004_155614.png

I saw this on the newsletter too, that they advertised coming soon section, but then the stuff from their banner.....isn't there.

I'd love to know what these covers are for. You'd think that is the cover for Saturnine by Abnett, which I think we will see in March in LE form.

The other two are Armageddon Saint and Road to Redemption by Gav Thorpe and Mike Brooks, respectively.

I am perplexed why Angron abandoned the path of pants. Great art though.

I always imagined Angron as more of a kilt or skirt sort of person.

Maybe not in armour, but otherwise? Definitely.

The blessings of the dark gods are manifold and potent but Incredible Hulk-style stretch pants are not one of them.

Any idea if there's anything plan for this Saturday? Coming Soon section doesn't have anything listed for 21-12. Well, we know how accurate that section is but they usually have at least something listed for each Saturday.

My wallet would be appreciate one weekend off, just don't want to miss anything in case they sneak another LE in.

Are you suggesting all us celts are blood thirsty maniacs? Personally I think Angron is a lederhosen type of guy, lederhosen is truely the attire of the mentalist

I can't disagree on that, but I was imagining more a roman leather-y skirt/utili-kilt rather than a lovely Millennium tartan & matching bowtie Prince Charlie get-up...

But now the idea of Angron in lederhosen has some traction...

I think it's Court of the Blind King this Saturday. AoS Deepkin story (that sounds ace - was in the relevant seminar with David Guymer, CL Werner & Graeme Lyons - and I can also attest that Code of the Skies was a grand wee story too).

On Novella Series 2 front, anyone vaguely interested in seeing Chaos done in a strangely (but not entirely!) wholesome way would do very well to check out Jamie Crisalli's "The Measure of Iron". Very keen to read more works from Jamie.

---

I don't know if there's a 40k release planned this weekend though. Might be one next Wednesday however...

Only the audiobook for Cadian Honour, as far as I've seen. GW's also pretty sparse this time of the year.

The post is vague on what’s coming in 2020, but it seems like we’re getting 10 debut novels this year. Pretty exciting overall.

Off the top of my head I can think of:

The Oubliette by JC Stearns (technically launched last week)

Masters of Shadow by Thomas Parrott (confirmed from amazon listing)

A Nate Crowley novel (mentioned in a Track of Words interview)

A Dennys Flowers novel (also mentioned in a TOW interview)

A Robert Rath novel (mentioned by Rath on twitter)

Anything else confirmed that I’m forgetting? I assume most of the debuts are by authors who’ve already done novellas/short stories so it’s not a super long list.

Do any French readers have an insight into why Black Library has decided to release nice big hardback omnibuses for the Heresy in French but not in other languages?

I'm not looking for them myself, but it sounds like easy money.

My webcomic, "Human," can be read here.

Though the paperback versions included some additional short stories. Those were released a while ago but stopped with Prospero.

Does anyone know when the warhammer adventures series start up again? My daughter is desperate to read a fourth book! The warhammer community site is looking a bit sparse for forthcoming releases at the moment.

According to the back of Book 3 in each series they were due in November 2019, but this didn't happen (obvs).

They have been put back until May 2020. It's unclear why at the moment, but I'm guessing that with the Warhammer animations preview we saw last month, which included a Warhammer Adventures cartoon, there might be some kind of tie-in release of books and visuals?

My son has read them all and wants the next ones too.
