The head is actually Anvil Industry. Right shoulder is from the Sternguard box, and the left is from the RG upgrade set. He's fully based now, too. I'll add a finished pic later today after work. The head is actually Anvil Industry. See this is why I ask, because I was nearly certain that Race had the correct guesses. I am definitely digging that Anvil head for sure. With the body position the way it is, I needed one with the hair going to the right because he's moving to the left. The head on my Sternguard Sgt came from the same sprue. Since white and silver are both acceptable colors for the 1st Company, I figured it works. The Veteran in question? That's Brother Logan. Name inspired by the pose he's in. Claws and Effect Posted June 17, 2017 Author Share Posted June 17, 2017 Resurrecting my thread with news. Sorta. I kitbashed a Techmarine and a Chaplain, both in MkIV armor. I couldn't vow them for the HHotE event because I'd already started them. For the Chaplain, I used an Anvil Industry hooded skull helmet head, MkIII arms for heavily armored goodness, and I converted an axe from a Sanguinary Guard into a crozius. Plasma pistol from the Sternguard box completes the bash. The Techmarine was a little more straightforward. I used the servo arm backpack and power axe from a 2nd-4th edition Techmarine that I never built and subsequently lost. I then stole the pad from my Fire Raptor pilot and the MkVI helmet with the targeter from the Vanguard box. I used a MkIII plasma pistol for him, figuring that a Techmarine is more likely to have relic gear than others. I'll have pics soon. Remodeling my bathroom tomorrow so I won't have time.
