Excellent work everyone thumbsup.gif

Unfortunately I have no new photos to show as I did not want to show a pile of painted bits - but rest assured... things are progressing ;)

Some impressive work by everyone!

I've just finished this month's Ioria campaign vow, Enginseer Zhukov and 4 servitors.

This means that for the first time in 17 years of playing 40K all my IG models are painted.  Woot!

They're getting there. really I don't have that much to left to do, unfortunately I've been distracted and on a roll with converting my daemons. But I've still got plenty of time to finish these guys in time. :)

Really liking the finished vows, good job guys thumbsup.gif

Good to see progress being made, I can finally throw my hat in:

I, WarriorFish, hereby pledge the forces of the 144th Arukan under Lord Commander Firionel to the capture of Ioria in the name of the Emperor. The contribution of 1 Priest at 25pts will do his duty no matter the cost.

Regiment piece:

Hidden Content
The priests of the Arukan are studious and learned men and women, not suited to the front lines. So do the Arukani regiments rely on their powerful benefactor to fill this gap and provide to the vital spiritual needs of the soldiers in battle. Lodash is one such priest; for a long time a member of one of the Inquisitor Lord's many secretive cells various injuries over the course of his service eventually had him "retire" to regimental support.

While he may lack the ferocity or battle prowess of some of the other priests he more than makes up for this in the purity of his faith. In battle where the odds may turn against His servants Lodash appears and the tide is turned. Some say he is blessed by the God-Emperor; others that he is extraordinarily lucky. That the mysterious book he holds never leaves his person is something rarely commented on, but rumour has claimed that it holds many secrets that could damn those who know them but also provide great knowledge. Perhaps Lodash's faith is greater than any give him credit for if such a book is entrusted to him...

Emperors blessing to all, the standard of work here is amazing! I feel pale in comparison but here is my completed vow, Valkyrie 01 of the 52nd Naval tactical squadron. Piloted by Squadron leader Lt S.Kimura and her Gunner 2nd Lt A.Digger.

At work so don't have access to my book but wanted to get my vow in! I will go over my codex later and come back with points and confirmation. For example I think it's the Mystic option I want for the top left model tongue.png

Edit: confirmed vow and added points

This is effectively a three month long event, so not everyone will be available/free to participate in all of them nor have enough models. The important thing is that those who do participate complete biggrin.png

The Lord of Change is a nice model, but then so is Greyfax. Greyfax wins though as she can be part of a snazzy B&C Guard narrative event - plus phase 3 has HQs as a bonus FOC so she'd be worth more points towards the unique role of Inquisitor Lord msn-wink.gif

You are right WarriorFish. I stand chastised. I don't own enough Inquisition stuff anymore (nor does GW sell enough things) So I think I'll skip an Inq vow for this phase, and do Greyfax next. Wish I could get a Coteaz on short notice, but I can't.

Now to Debate my Phase 3 vow...Pask and 2 LR bodyguards, or a baneblade....

@Hod, can't wait to see.

Went over my vow last night with my codex and I've updated my post with the final cut :)

Honda those are some lovely models, I like how you've kit bashed the AdMech models to fit their Crusader role!

the Inquisition is certainly putting in a good showing on Ioria

With *cough, Mechanicus *cough help. msn-wink.gif

Really like your power weapons glow there Honda.

Thank you. I wanted to do something that would break out the overall darkness of the figures, which given their nature isn't surprising, but they needed something. So the attempt is to have the metal of the swords/power mauls transition into something glowey and I got close to what I was imagining.

It turns out that all those left over turret rings and hatches I have can be used for something else. :)
