Small update on what else I've got in the works.
Here's what the whole lot looks like so far.

Can't have a functional campaign without the presence of a Field Police!

And finally a look at how the assault marines are doing so far.
All of them will have cabling running along the armour, as you can see on the armed one.

That's it for now, C&C is always more than appreciated.
Cheers!

Even though it's not complete yet, that is still a gorgeous army! All the effort you put into each model really shows with the quality of the final product. Maybe it's too late to change parts now, but the right shoulder pad on the field police is looking a lot smaller than the left shoulder pad, with your GS skills you could probably sculpt all the detail again on a bigger pad and have more even looking shoulders. It's not a huge deal though, as your excellent paint jobs will probably look great anyways. Looking forward to seeing more!

hushrong: Yessir. :)
Vairocanum: Thanks! Being a lazy old me I just stuck with the shoulderpads as they were, as I think the size isn't that noticeable.

Small update.
Tough but fair, he is pretty much done apart from the base.

Vairocanum: Cheers! Looking forward to get some paint on those Contemptors aswell. :smile.: Really tempted to try this method of painting armour.
Capt. Jack: Thanks!
malcharion: Thankies!

Rhino's are 99% done apart from a few studs and clean up. I still have one hull to be made either into a Predator or a Damocles. The lightning motif on the door was heavily inspired by this wonderful old blog on Warseer.

Jüffös: Thanks! For the weathering question, it's just all up to what looks good to be honest, with some patience in the mix.
Luna707: Thank you! :smile.:
hushrong: Cheers! The Rhinos are based on a Tamiya M113 APC kit.
Lord Commander Eidolon: Thanks! I took some liberties with the design as the original Field Police is wearing black armour. There's some fresh fluff in Inferno (?) I think where a "Field overseer militant authority" is featured, see: http://i.imgur.com/m6nXv1Y.jpg

Allright, not much paint to show, but I've been working on some new stuff.
Vexilla is close to being done, I wanted to give him a bit of a veteran look.

Lascannon team is also pretty much there. This was a quick modelling job as I just needed a little extra punch for the army.

Reinforcements are in the works, that is mk4 and mk6 armour as well as legs for a squad of terminators.

These will propably go for another project, but just look at that heap. :biggrin.:

I've got a few SoS models in the works for an ally detachment, here is their work in progress Oblivion Knight.

Also, rivets.

Vairocanum: Cheers! As for the Terminators, the augury devices are picking up strange disturbances, so stay tuned.
hushrong: I'll retain from upscaling other vehicles if I can help it. :biggrin.: Even though these were a nice little project and I'm happy with the result, it can get rather tedious.
Brother Chaplain Kage: I shall have to work harder then. :smile.:

Small update as I've returned to work life so not much time to paint, but I did manage to crack out the spray can as it wasn't raining today.

Rest of the breachers are undercoated and ready to join their shield brethren soon.

Here's what my tackle at the mkV assault marine's armour looks like all solid.

Saving candy for last, here's my company standard bearer. I'm quite happy with the look.

My word these are some of the best death guard and truescale marines I've seen. And being on the B&C I don't make that statement lightly. You characters literally ooze... Character... The Consul, praetor and field police are superb. Even the veterans sergeant is a model I'd be proud off for a commander.

Thanks for sharing, seeing this plog made my day.

hushrong: Thanks! Really satisfied with the pose and regality of him.
lionofjudah: Thanks dude!
The Yak: Cheers! I'm glad to hear.
Vairocanum: Gonna have my hands full with painting soon enough...
disease: I could learn a thing or two from you. Cheers!

Progress has been slowed down a bit due to work and life. Waiting for bits to arrive, I worked on a start of something new. Wanted to go quick and dirty on it with minimal work, all I need to sculpt is the armour on the abdomen. I'd like to credit the person who's idea the chainmace is but I can't remember for the life of me! :biggrin.: Still at a bit of a crossroads with picking the Legion.

The Veterans and vehicles are really great. And I love the recycling of the used miniatures. And finally the chain mace, urge to build one rising.

If your still building Mk III True Scale  marines, the new 40K Death Guard feature legs that are already scaled up. I went the opposite route, and use them as terminator legs.
