Hey all,

So I'm taking part in a Kill Team campaign type thing and wanted some feed back on my list.

I'm using the Digidex as it's the one I own.

I'm looking to have fun more than to win :)

-Battle Sister Squad (80)

 - 2x Battle Sister

 - 2x Battle Sister w/Meltagun

 - 1x Sister Superior

-Seraphim Squad (110)

 - 4x Seraphim

 - 2x Seraphim w/Hand Flamers

As far as I know we have an

Inquisition or Tau player (using the Inquisition codex, not the Imperial Agents codex)

Space Wolves or Eldar

A guy using one of these; space wolves, space marines, tyranids, orks, and some others

Took me a minute to realize you were new here with your profile picture, since one of the other Sisters fraters used that one for a while, but I digress . . . :P

Welcome to the B&C! Here's your flamer and three barrels of the Emperor's Holy Promethium.

I really like playing with Seraphim regardless of the format, and the mobility can be really nice. It would be nice to have a transport, but I don't see how you'd fit one in this list. Since you have 10 points left over, why not upgrade one of the Seraphim to a Superior?

I don't have a ton of experience with Kill Team, but I think some of the other players around here do.

Once again, welcome! Ave Imperator :D

Cheers for the advice, it's very helpful :)

Oh, and thanks for the welcome, although I've been here for a while ;-)

I haven't played Kill Team for a while, but I definitely found the Weapon Specialist Trait "Eagle Eye" to be invaluable if you give it to a Bolter Sister. It adds 12" to the Bolt Guns range to 36" which is a very is very handy if you put her at the top of a building. My regular Battle Sister over the course of four games (an in GW store Tournament to celebrate its release) took out seven or so models just from the extra range. Two opponents refused to send any models near her and tried to used Missiles etc to take her out. Nope, she lived in all four games laugh.png

A very good trait to give if you use it right smile.png

Kill Team is actually one of the times I would consider taking Celestians over regular Battle Sisters (mostly for the +1 attack in close combat).

Also, with 10 pts left over, get a heavy weapon of some kind in there (hev bolter being my personal favourite).

Put the rule that grants "sniper" on one of the hand flaners. You'll wound on 4's and rend on 6's. It's totally worth it.

Besides from that, I basically find more sisters is better than more weapons. I usually only run one or two special weapons now (I used to max then out haha).

A Sororitas Command Squad (C:IA) is pretty good in KT.

You can deck them out well, and they've got a Celestian statline for 5 points over a BSS.

Sounds sweet, alas, I do not use Imperial Agents

And since they're an HQ choice in the e'dex you can't take them if you're using that :(

Dominions are also pretty good. They get scout and can remove cover once per game. This helps alot against guard with Camo cloaks/anything with stealth and or shrouded hosing on cover getting absurd saves.

Alas, you can only have one fast attack and Seraphim are my prefered choice. I'll keep that in mind for the future :)

Eagle eye on a heavy bolter for 3 shots at 54 inches? Or Reaping Volley (right name?) to target multiple models with one weapon?

I play Wolves, not Sisters. Love playing Kill Team and I'm sure Sisters would approve of my favoring flamers in KT. Being able to drop a template over multiple models is quite helpful in this format. For me its Skyclaws with jump packs and flamers, mobility and templates.

Flamers definitely are good for Kill Team. I give one or two pairs to Seraphim and let the Battle Sisters take bolters.

Yeah. Jump troops help, and having the rerolls blend 6++ will save you enough to annoy your opponent than you'd think. Especially when fighting scions or 1ksons.or anyone with a ignores cover missile launcher.

Considering that the base point cost of a Dominion squad + Immolator  leaves me with 75 points to play with. I could bring a stock Seraphim squad along. Nah, I'll use them for special weapons on the Doms instead. I'm thinking MM on the immolator, 2 each of stormbolter & flamer, I'm unsure of what superior to use, and I may use a sixth bss that may or may not have a banner. Choices.

I run a Battle Sisters squad in an Immolator.

4 bolters, 1 Heavy Flamer, 1 Melta, Sister Superior with Combi-Flamer and Power Sword.  Immolator is just TW Heavy Flamer and a Laudhailer.  Comes out to 199/200.

Since our board usually includes a Promethium pipe-line I run all the flamers as Torrent really turns into a force multiplier.  Melta sister of course has infiltrate to help pop a vehicle or take out an important enemy model early on.

I took Beams KT list to a game, played 2 games & went 1L-1W, both against space marines. The dice hated the meltas & flamers. However in the 2nd game the first shot of the immolator popped a marine & they slowly began to fall. The golly gee moment was when a BSS, a melta & flamer attacked a landspeeder first turn they missed then on return the speeder missed, that situation continued for a few turns till the immolator landed a shot.
