If they remain the same they will be Str 4 AP 0 assault 2,which looks a lot better compared to the new bolter, assuming shotguns don't get new stats. Kierdale Posted June 7, 2017 Share Posted June 7, 2017 Here was me planning a fist-sergeant, but a hammer-wielding one is very tempting now! I like that shotguns are S5 at under half range but wonder how effective that is (over bolters)? You'll be wounding targets T5 to T9 on 5s as opposed to bolters wounding T5 to T7 on 5s...but are we going to be pointing our AP- shotguns at many T8/9 targets? I guess getting to advance and fire them will be the thing. I definitely like camo cloaks: 2+ in cover! :tu: Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
LucidNinja Posted June 8, 2017 Share Posted June 8, 2017 I think the bigger advantage is that shotguns at half range wound t4 stuff on 3+, that's where they outshine the bolter and pistols more so.
