Alternate colors for sisters of silence

Recommended Posts

I'm using sisters of silence for a custom sisters of battle chapter. I'm stuck on how to paint them. My question is does anyone have any sisters painted in not gold, silver or the normal colors. Any help would be appreciated.

@ casb1965:

The second link is a poor photo of red, not pink. msn-wink.gif

Despite being Imperial, the SoS do share a passing aesthetic with the current Dark Eldar range of models. You might therefore try looking for images of Dark Eldar to draw ideas and colour scheme inspiration from? I obviously can't link anything as it's against B&C rules, but I think that a reflective black and/or deep purple would look pretty fitting for them. Red or white could be worth considering too.

You can check out my army blog for Sisters of Battle. I so far have done them in black, red, bone and white. For choosing colors, you can always make whatever you pick look good with right secondary colors, but it's always nice to pick a color you enjoy painting. For instance, red is super easy and gratifying, while yellow and white can be real pains to get depth of color into. Hope this helps.

Here's another link http://www.evilkipper.com/wp-content/gallery/hello-kitty-sisters/p1170014exorcistcropped.jpg if you google Helloo Kitty Sisters of Battle there's a few photos, the vehicles are all pink and the SoB look t6o be a dark pink.
