Quick question -

are our dreads now all capable of taking squads? Or is that just the standard Dread? thanks!

There is no harm in, on occasion, having disagreements. It's another thing entirely, however, to be a tool in conveying that disagreement.

No we did not get that in Angel's Blade. We did however get the Chapter Ancients formation.

I think the only things that can be taken as squadrons are land speeders, Stormravens and tanks.

Just cycled through Red Thirst Edition Codex. No Dreadnought squadrons of any type. Man...is there ANY logician reason why we are deliberately kept behind like that?

Well I think they are ridiculous anyways :P

Fluff wise dreads are supposed to be like one or two per company max, so they shouldn't be able to squad up.
But you are right, if regular ones can, ours should be able to as well.

Because we got a formation that's better!

+1 Charlo.

I've never wanted to field multiple dreads stuck in one unit before anyway. And Chapter Ancients is leaps and bounds better.

More like 3-4 per Company.

Yeah depending on the chapter/company the number of dreadnoughts varies greatly.

Also I don't view it as very detrimental as Blood angels get a sick formation out of the deal especially the ability to have HQ dreadnoughts is just too cool to pass up. We get special snowflake dreadnoughts in the form of Librarian Dreadnoughts which no one else has access too. So the trade off IMO is great.

Gonna paint each Dread in a different BA chapters color scheme anyway when I'm starting my 1850p Dreadnought list. :P

If my posts appear rude to you, I apologize. It's not meant to be rude in any way, it's just the way folks are in my country. It's really more about being direct than being rude. I know how it's perceived in the english speaking community and I already try to tone it down but I barely notice when it's too much since it's normal for me.

So yeah, I'm really not rude it's basically just cultural differences that act against me here. Again, I apologize.

That is pretty cool actually.

Could represent all of them uniting on Baal to kill the Tyranids.

Dante: "They're approaching the fortress monastery, but by our genefather, they will not breach the gates... Send in The Ancients."

100 Dreads from across the chapters stand ready to blend the bugs as they come to the door.

100 would be pretty damn impressive...but unfortunately only 9 with Pods in that list. :D
