I have more time this Thursday so we are planning on playing 3.5k game that could scale to 4k. Let me know what you think of my list. I will be playing most likely death guard but could be Alpha legion or ultramarines. Army: Eaters of Worlds Faction: Traitoris point value: 3,500 Right of war: Crimson Path HQ: Khârn The Bloody 190 pts (with 20 man Marine squad and apoth) legacy of blood Gahlan Surlak 110 pts (with inductii Elites: apothecary detatchment 55 pts 1 x apothecary artificer armor Red Butchers 340 pts 5 x butchers 1 x devoured 5 x dual axes devoured w/ dual chainfists Troops: Inductii 300 pts 19 x marines 1 x sgt chain axes, extra ccw's, vexilla sgt w/ artificer, pfist legion tactical squad 300 pts 19 x marines 1 x sgt chain axes, extra ccw's. vexilla sgt w, artificer, pfist Fast Attack Dreadclaw drop pod 115 pts Lightning strike fighter 265 pts battle control servitor, ground tracking auguries 3 x kraken penetrator missiles heavy support: Spartan Assault Tank 375 pts armored ceramite, dozer blade, flare shield Spartan assault tank 375 pts armored ceramite, dozer blade, flare shield sicaran venator tank destroyer 190 pts LOW: War Machine Detatchment legion typhon siege tank 435 pts armored ceramite, heavy bolters legion typhone siege tank 455 pts armored ceramite, lascannons 3505 pts Tactics: Spartans charge forward and shoot at tanks. - Khârn, apoth, tactical squad in Spartan. - surlack, inductii, in a Spartan. venator hunts for big tanks. Butchers in dreadclaw drop down Typhon's pop tanks and kill anything in cover Lightning comes in from reserve and hunts big tanks Assault when able. To boost it to 4k if time allows: Add: contemptor mortis dred 180 pts kheres assault cannons x 2 contemptor cortus dred 175 pts ccw, chain fist, 2 x inbuilt meltas 1 x red butcher to squad 45 pts Thanks a lot. Lord Asvaldir Posted March 22, 2017 Share Posted March 22, 2017 Well this list certainly embodies not hold back at all. 3 spartans and 2 typhoons, that's absolutely brutal. Your opponent is going to need D weapons to deal with all that armor. Only one change I'd consider, drop the Red Butchers spartan and take a dreadclaw for them instead. It's just a six man squad anyway, not like they need a full spartan. With the remaining pts you can add in some more firepower, maybe take the lightning at 3.5k. My opponent wont mind. That would free up the use of a lightning in the list. Thanks a lot. How do dreadclaws work?
