Daimyo-Phaeron Lenoch
I am attemting to 3d design shoulderpads for my chapter. I found some basic pads online today, printed ten in about 15 minutes, proceeded to lose one, and they are something like half the size of a regular pad. Does anyone have any idea what the inner dimensions of a shoulder pad are (like, caliper-measurements, or close enough it won't matter)? I'd simply commission some from plokoone but I'm a. cheap and b. have a resolution to only make one unneeded marine purchase this year, and I'm saving that for the Iron Guantlet. Otherwise I probably would, he has some amazing stuff. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Ovidius Incertus
Grabbed a random Mk. VII pad for some rough dimensions: Exterior dimensions: .325" high, .380" wide at the base Interior dimensions: .275" high, .245" wide at the base Thickness is approximately .057", but that includes the rim, so I bet it's more like .050-.055" thick not including the rim. Interior dimensions are a little squingier. Don't have a way or know how to measure radius or anything. I measured the dimensions as best I could from the edge of pauldron closest to the torso, so the interior dimensions at their widest point.
