Took last 2 pics under same LED lighting and got the weird bars... I built and primed a quick base for him today so will try and get base painted and the man mountain mounted upon it. Base is fairly simple and matches the Fists I have painted as I currently am planning on using the 2 armies for a battle scene for my AoP board this year.

I'm going to give the yellow stripes the Apologist super thinned red brown wash to help them pop some more.

The rounds have red tips to signify that they go faster;)

I combined the paint job idea from the FW website and one I found on Battlebunnies... and some of my own ideas....fairly happy with it all so far and I'm trying to streamline my painting to get more bang for my time.

Really digging the metals on him! If I had one little criticism though, it would be that the hazard stripes look very bright and clean in comparison to the weathering on the metal, but you may not have gotten to that yet.

Also, I think it would be Purty Perty. ;)

The stripes will be next as I get him based: he's been lonely and bored as I've been doing other projects.

Lol... I avoided the purty Perty as he is an iron warrior and they don't really mess around with honorifics like that;)

Thanks Bob! I've been workin with blending skin tones with white/blue/red and yellow and feel like the formula really worked out here:)
