Hi

I recently completed Primarch Guilliman from the Gathering Storm series.

 

Went with a bronze/gold look as my version of Roboute is one where he has embraced his role in the wider imperium, in his father’s stead. The blue was to balance out the figure and also honour his chapter.

Great paint job, but too me the bronze/gold makes the armour look too much like Big E's armour.

I think that's the idea. I love the red-gold you have going. I think it's called martian gold in universe.

I don't see that as a bad thing, in fact I plan on painting my Guilliman up in the same gold as my Custodes and with a blue flaming sword as well. As such I like this rendition of Guilliman a lot more than the standard blue and red flaming sword we commonly see.

He looks absolutely regal. I think you nailed that effect. 

I would probably have gone for a different colour scheme for the Base because it kind of blends together with the model.
