Most people keep chaos forces on "real world" bases, that doesn't really support the otherworldly background. Otherwise, there would be few indicators of the chaos origin of unconverted models too, especially as FW mechanicum is quite limited in model choices. The increasing size of mechs also fits the theme well, considering Scoria experimented a lot with those. And well, FW themselves said on events they will make a Scoria model rather soon, so that will be interesting. I must say, that colour scheme applied the way it is, juxtaposed against bases of those colours, is doing wibbley things with my eyes. Well, looks a bit like too much image editing. Shadows that become gray, extreme contrasts...maybe a regular pic would be closer to the real deal. Daylight for the win... Looks realy cool, nice ! But where is the Thanatar ? There's finally ONE 30k mechanicum project without a thanatar, why not leave it at that?
