Tempestus moved to Orestes, therefore leaving only the Deathbolts, and Legio Ignatum (Fire Wasps) on Mars....? anyone got any info on this? I thought there would be like 10+Unlike 'Chapters' of space marines or 'Regiments' of guardsmen, I don't think a relatively consistent or clear measure has been reliably presented for the strengths of most titan legions. My general recollections on the subject are that the relative strengths are highly variable, and that you're much more likely to see a 'maniple' or similar sub-division actually committed to any particular theater. It's a bit like saying yes, both Canada and the United States have armies. Both [insert throw away, only mentioned once, forgeworld] and Mars have titan legions. Compare it to trying to put a precise finger on the number of Sisters that comprise a typical 'mission' when the reality of it is that the word in that context is likely much more analogous to 'task force'. The number of sisters assigned to a mission depends on just how many their command elements think that mission will require and who's available. House Taranis Posted May 17, 2017 Share Posted May 17, 2017 On mars there were three legions. The Legio Ignatum (Fire Wasps) are still on mars. The Legio Mortis (Heretics) I think are in the eye of terror or the warp. The Legio Tempestus was split with the senior princeps and about half the Titans turning to chaos.
