Firstly I want to say how amazing it is to see B&C still up and running after all of this time and its great to be back. Checking my profile you can see I'm not technically a new member. I joined all the way back in 2009! I was the sort of member who liked reading everyone's posts and comments but never actively took part in the discussions. I was active until 2011/2012, that is when I stopped playing warhammer, went to university then got a job. There were multiple reasons I stopped playing which I won't go into detail here. Despite not having played for over 5 years now I always kept up to date with what was happening, mainly through belloflostsouls and miniwargaming.
So if anyone has read this far you maybe wondering why I am back on B&C and its simply because of the interesting developments around 8th Edition and Lore surrounding it. This had only been through reading articles etc but seeing the return of a primarch, brand new and improved space marines and a huge change in the rules I had to see what all the fuss was about.
One regret I had was never completing my Liber Astartes, The Angels Vengeance Chapter. I took part in the Liber Astartes campaign that dated back to 2011 I believe and received an email last year about its updates. Back then I was never able to put my chapter on the site due to technical issues and shortly after I lost my PC and ALL of my notes, and multiple documents on my chapter. All I have now is a distant memory of never completing my chapter which is still tucked away under my bed. (P.S. if they are not already, strike them off the list for the campaign please)
So my plan is to rebuild the lore of my chapter using what little memory I have of them and finally but my unease at rest. I doubt I will ever play table top again but I be damned if I don't get my chapter made on this great website. I will begin posting updates of my chapter in the relevant place once I figure out how to approach it. If there are any pieces of advise you have I would love to hear it. I know theres a guide on here but it is very old, if its still relevant for today I will use it.
