Sception Posted May 27, 2017 Share Posted May 27, 2017 rules for some of the starter box death guard are up, though not points yet to my knowledge: https://www.warhammer-community.com/2017/05/27/warhammer-fest-live-blog/ The lord of Contagion is melee only and very slow, though he does get teleport deployment, and he looks tough as nails (2+/4++//5+++; T5; 6W), and if he ever does see melee that plaguereaper is right brutal, and he passes on a melee-range mortal-wounding aura to nearby death guard units. The only answer I could come up with so far is because it's easier for new player to improve a 7+ armor save (thanks to cover or other effects) and see "Aha! So that means they have a 5+ save when they are in those ruins!" instead of making that extra step and assuming a " - " improved by 2 is a 5+. Standard multipart kits with options and poseability - well, as much posability as the amount of detail on those kits allow - will be coming.
