rules for some of the starter box death guard are up, though not points yet to my knowledge:

The lord of Contagion is melee only and very slow, though he does get teleport deployment, and he looks tough as nails (2+/4++//5+++; T5; 6W), and if he ever does see melee that plaguereaper is right brutal, and he passes on a melee-range mortal-wounding aura to nearby death guard units.

though I am wondering why the Poxwalkers have a 7+.....

The only answer I could come up with so far is because it's easier for new player to improve a 7+ armor save (thanks to cover or other effects) and see "Aha! So that means they have a 5+ save when they are in those ruins!" instead of making that extra step and assuming a " - " improved by 2 is a 5+.

Quick question - it was stated elsewhere the Starter Box Prinaris (primarii ? ) are monopose Models ...does this apply to DG as well?

Yes. That's how Starter Boxes always are. We've even seen pictures of the sprues already.

Just the starter box ones, though.  Standard multipart kits with options and poseability - well, as much posability as the amount of detail on those kits allow - will be coming.  We've already seen pics of terminator and power-armored plague marines that aren't part of the starter kit.

Thanks for the update....might bide my time then as I prefer poseable options and feel bad putting the saw to these beauties.

( and certainly see little use for a bunch of non poseable/bits of Primarii )

Maxime Pastourel just posted today about the new Nurgle Marines from the brand new box game.

Excellent read - I love his enthusiasm, although I wished he had elaborated on taking the Blight Drone concept and making the Bloat Drone. And it was interesting to see that the herald was finished by another sculptor.
