Thanks Arkley that’s much better. They look great. I really like the chapter and squad markings on the shoulders too. I was worried they would stick out too far from the shoulder but they look fine.

OK for now its finished I will come back later to sort stuff like the soot.  But this has been a breakthrough moment for me... 

 

I bought the original Renegades only to sell the Knights I was too scared to paint, I have made so many mistakes in painting this one, bad sub-assemblies, having to take the shoulders off as I couldnt fit the weapons on etc... Mistake after mistake.

 

Is it the best I could do NO but it is a start and I am proud of myself for painting it...

 

So without further nonsense I present

What direction are you thinking of taking them? They are awesome, and I still haven't gotten around to painting up any Blades of Alaric in tribute yet either. I guess I will have to do half squads of each now! :D
