Volt comes before you with your salvation for paintbucket woes.

It would have been nice if you have credited the source for the image variant you're providing as salvation for the community woes.

While GW owns the right to the image and all derivatives and I posted it specifically for people to spread/use, there is a minimum expectation that someone else doesn't imply that they're his/her own variant.

Has there been any word on Lord Thørn's Primaris Painter?

Sorry, no, I haven't been able to put any time into it for several months, what with a new job and all, plus the computer I was working on died on me... However, I haven't given up hope, and if people are also interested in the project will definitely help the motivation factor :)
Definitely interested in this!

Note that I've gone through and split all of the DIYs into their own topics. The focus of this topic is the development of files/apps that hobbyists can use to test/develop DIY Primaris schemes. Individual Chapters, meanwhile, should be shown in their own topics (and those can link back to this topic, if desired) so that each can get focused discussion without any confusion.

I haven't quite figured out how the downloads or gallery uploads work these days, but I edited up a somewhat more characterful version of the template GW recently released with the new codex announcement, including the space for Chapter Tactics. Hope it's useful!

A tip for those with applications like PSD or Krita that support multiple layers. Set the lineart as the top layer and change it's layer type to multiply then add your colour layers underneath. This will allow the white areas to show any colours painted underneath it and the black lines remain black lines.

I'm having a similar problem where my MS paint wont fill any areas properly, I've even tried this one from Volt but my "fill" comes out patchy and wont fill the whole area. Any ideas? I've tried three different .png's with no success.

EDIT: I finally got it working. Thanks for the links, saved my butt!
