Hello, making another list again. Probably not making this in a long time either, just wanted to do a list. It represent World Eaters after the fall, just bloodthrirsty killers with no reason anymore. Not a great deal of anti tank or scoring, but who cares about scoring when there is blood in the air.

Thoughts, criticism, anything

I'm still fairely new to the World eaters so I don't know everything.

Something I would do would bei to swap one of the power swords in the assault squad to a axe in order to have a bit of ap2 with them. I'm also not sure if every member in the assault squad needs a power sword, with Khârn and surlak it might be a bit of an overkill, but I don't know where else to put the points.

The point about tanks is solid so you need to target them first.

Apart from that it looks really fluffy and fun to play, the 12th never cared about objektives to begin with. ;)

Fair point about swapping some swords for axes, but honestly their sergeant already takes care of any enemy sergeants and they shouldn't be in combat with artificer/terminator armour in the first place, I've got Butchers and Khârn for that.

Weight of dice actually makes normal marines pretty good against 2+ saves if they get the charge. With butchers it is more of a mutually asured destruction thanks to PF ignoring their second wound. Against targets in power armour an axe or two won't make a difference because they will be dead before they strike but, if you have to attack some terminators that bonus ap might come in handy.

Leviathan still got two meltaguns in the claw and drill and it's going to pod in turn 1, weather the storm and then charge in and rip whatever it comes across into little pieces. He is my answer to Primarchs with the claw and to Knights and tanks with the drill.

Also Inductii have s10 fist on their sergeants and Butchers got a chainfist, so while I don't have much dedicates AT, almost every one of my units can do some AT work if armour comes across.

Honestly, I think it's hard to improve on what you already have.

You're already running my favorite Leviathan setup - I run a full talon of three in my NL Terror Assault list, and the one with the claw/drill combo is always the one who pulls the most weight in every game.

Butchers look good too - as long as you have a chainfist on the Devoured, you won't have a bad day if you run into something their axes can't crack. So those are set.

Inductii are great - since they're not scoring anyway I'd be inclined to just combine the two units to make one massive Inductii squad and toss them in a Kharybdis to just drown almost anything in the weight of their attacks, but that's just my personal take. And you'd still keep an odd number of drop pods so that wouldn't affect their deployment.

I'm assuming Khârn and Surlak are going with the Vets? If so I'd toss a power fist or a thunder hammer on the Sergeant just for some higher strength attacks in the unit, but that's all I'd change and again that's just my preference.

Again, great looking list. I think this would be pretty nasty to line up across from.

Good plan. Would look cool in that scheme! Now, are you locked into Assault Marines? They are eating up your points, that's all. World Eaters don't care for scoring units, so go for mass Inductii! :)

Also, Red Butchers can't take a Dreadclaw as a Dedicated Transport anymore. There was a rule attached to Dreadclaws allowing any Terminator unit of 5 or less models to take one, but as of the "Legiones Astartes: Age of Darkness Army List", it no longer exists. Not sure why Battlescribe still has it as an option.

Carnivore's suggestion of a Kharybdis (or two!) is a good one. Pricey model, yes, but it's so amazing! Yes, it does have Drop Pod Assault, so going for odd pods is the business. This list might do what you're looking for:

Khârn & Gahlan in the Vets, with an Apothecary in each Inductii Squad (they boost their FNP, and if they die you'll only have lost 1 point of it). Still has 5 pods, but 2 of them are Special K's!

For anti-Tank, you have S10 power fists on the Inductii Sergeants, a chainfist on the Devoured, the Leviathan, and Khârn's Armourbane axe. Also, as close combat is resolved against Rear Armour, don't underestimate the Inductii's chainaxes (4 S6 AP4 attacks each on the charge). They will wreck almost all non-Land Raider vehicles. Finally, Dreadclaws and Kharybdi have their Fire Sweep attacks, which are also resolved against the weakest armour facing - they are surprisingly good at taking out vehicles!

Of course if the Kharybdis is definitely out of your budget (try to save £ or it!), then finding the balance of pods is tricky:

- you really need at least 5 to make an impactful 1st Turn.

- Dreadpods are gone from FW (hopefully just for now).

- you want to be in the enemy deployment zone with "Crimson Path".

An alternative is going for "Berserker Assault", as it gives Hatred outside your deployment zone - much easier to achieve than the FNP bonus of "Crimson Path". This reduces the reliance on Drop Pod Assault. Food for thought. :)
