Iron Gauntlet Genocide Angels

Here my entry for the second challenge of the Iron Gauntlet

 

The first pics are my characters:

 

A Techmarine with conversion beam, made out of bits

 

The brothers (actual brothers) made with green stuff. My first try on modeling

 

The leader of the White Fortress detachment. Second try on modeling combined with bits

 

My first (mostly) finished squad:

 

My Assault Squad. I tried some new things on them like FW weathering powder and non-metalic-gold. As soon I get my hands on the GW-jewel-effect-paints I will finish this squad with it.

 

Because I am really bad at giving names I still don´t have them for my characters. Feel free to suggest some

I have some time left today, so I started with the first tactical squad. Maybe I can manage to get it finished on the next weekend! That would really help me in my painting schedule :D

I didn´t know there was a cult here for the greatest colour the Emperor ever created :O

 

 

Sadly I catched a nasty cold yesterday and it seems that I wont be able to do some painting this week. To not waste the time I will search for Painting Guides on how to paint a white armour and why I don´t get the expected result from Wild Rider Red.

It took me a little longer to get the pics up because of cameraproblems but here are two finished units:

Very Awesome looking force you have there! I don't really like orange space marines, but you have done that colour justice. Very impressive indeed.

Thank you, I try my best. It´s strange how hard it is to paint the shoulderpads xD

 

Only a real Space Marine can wear orange :P
