Hey guys and gals! Kinda new here and while I know it's off topic from slaughtering ork boys, but is it possible to start with Penitent Engines in reinforcements this Ed? Got a strat I wanna try against my friend's Necrons.

 

I haven't really played anything since 5th and back then I was a Muhreens player. Thought I'd pick up the hobby again with something "new" since I always liked the SOB.

You mean reserves? Unless you can find a rule that says so on the datasheet than your only hope is for an option from the mission's specific rules.

 

Of course, the whole necro-gauss-flaying thing is gone, so if you're worried about special doom from killer robots, don't be.

More like I want something to either gib or distract his annihilation barges for 2nd turn. Seraphim are all good in that case, shame I cant take an Inferno Pistol on the Superior though (would round me out to 2k points exactly).

But no, pengines, you are too slow and you get shot to death by anyone with even a basic concept of what you do in combat.

I've had them have great success, mainly.becuas eif they do hit stuff, it dies. If you rush Celestine and dominions in someone's face, they hopefully will.ognore the pengines long enough for them to get close...

Admittedly im submitting the following to test if ive figured out how to share battlescribe lists.

The following is what i call "Budget Saints". Run the celestians close to the canoness' but run the ness' out front to draw fire and let celestians take wounds when she fails as you would for celestine. Not intended to be a competitive list but something tjats been going thrpugh my head.

I like to run BSS in squads of 7. Its a number that has just seemed to work well for me.
