Leviathan in a pod vs Knight Acheron

Which would you say is the better choice. Leviathan in a pod is slightly cheaper but is less resilient and (if they keep 7th rules) doesn't have stomp.

Was thinking of including both, but if I do I don't have points for a dreadnought pod. Can a foot-slogging leviathan work?

Yeah, depends a lot on your list.

Also, a single Knight will always fill up your LoW slot. Taking two of them makes it possible to run them as a Questoris allied detachment.

Leviathan in a pod allows you to fill up your LoW slot with various alternatives.

Personally I'd say that a DS'ing Leviathan with a fat loadout does more than a single lone Knight, but yeah, depends on the rest of your list, what Legion you're running, etc.

World Eaters - mostly built around two 17 man squads in two spartans running up the field.

I'm kitbashing an Acheron using Kytan torso, axe and head, to fit the bunny ears theme.

Just wondering whether to spend the rest of my points on another Acheron, a melta leviathan in a pod, a lightning, or a squad of angry dudes in a kharbydis.

Okay, so you're set on the Knight Acheron as your LoW anyways, which is totally fine. Also, I love the idea of the Kytan conversion !

Are your two 17-strong units scoring or are they Inductii ?

What's your HQ and how many points is the list ? 2k ? 2.5k ?

Maybe post your list, or possible variations of it.
