KiltedMarine Posted June 13, 2017 Share Posted June 13, 2017 Somebody explain this to me- heavy weapons take a -1 to hit when they move. Swiftclaws hit on a 4+ anyway. So will a Swiftclaw Attack Bike only hit with the HB or MM on a 5+ in a turn in which it moves? If so, I'm going to be very sad, as I spent a lot of time modeling up me Attack Bike like a chariot, and that kind of hit rate seems to make the unit a waste... After so MUCH of my army sat in the cases for 6th and 7th I've got an urge to just play with ALL OF THE MODELS, whether good or bad, for a while. HDL I figured I might not be the only one to whom that's a revelation. As for soaking up wounds, I think that will depend on cost of the HB... Gherrick Posted June 14, 2017 Share Posted June 14, 2017 If you are gonna have a unit for soaking wounds, its cheaper/better to use a WG biker unit. I really want to use other biker options, but it seems like swift claws and attack bikes are completely inferior, especially considering the lack of storm shield option.
