I have been pretty sick today and yesterday, and inbetween bouts of unholy sickness, I have been putting some paint to Typhus as a test model. http://www.golden-throne.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/06/typhus1.jpg Long way to go yet. Just a test mini. For all I know we could be getting a new Typhus model soonish, so I chose this model to make sure I get to paint it before it becomes obsolete! I'm considering how nicely this guy looks when thinking about how I'll paint my own Death Guard when I buy the new starter box. Bu tthat's the point in this test mini! I also think the finecast version of this model hasn't helped much. I think the idea with the 40k guys is that their armour has decayed into the green colour, but even so I think the traditional colour scheme fits in perfectly with 40k death guard. I couldn't the right colour "while" on my own Typhus and ended up going with the green look, so i'm super impressed :O!!! Totally agree with the traditional colour fitting into the 40k DG especially when you dirty it up some more! Keep it up and get well soon! I think he looks perfect in the Heresy colours. I'm planning on a bone colour for my DG when I paint them too. Also, agreed Nurglings do in fact rock.
