He'd been sitting in my painting area and whenever I got bored of painting my current project I'd just paint a bit more of him. I finally decided to bite the bullet and finish him.   The Camouflage is based on a sample scheme from the 2nd edition Codex.  I found out after varnishing him that the strap holding his goggles on is unpainted. (Finally pulling my collection out of the closet and even adding to it now!) I have:  Black Reach and Battle for Vedros Ork forces Painboy 1 box of Warbikers 1 box of Killa Kans 7 boxes of Boyz 2 boxes of Nobz 5 (Soon to be 6!) Boxes of Lootas/Burnas  and hopefully soon I'll be receiving Warboss Grukk's Boss-Mob as well.  ...I'm suddenly really glad I decided not to sell off my Orks. My basic rule of the army is to see if I can make the model before buying it. (Unless I really like the model of course).First picture is the bikers, front and center is the nob with claw (He's so good he's two grots on a bike)Second picture is one of the mega tanks, the mek gunz in the back, and a kustom kan I use like a warbossThird is my big mek with his giant shokk attack gun and rokkit launcha, the little oiler sidekick, and another shot of the kustom kanFourth shows a bit of the second mega tank, grot tanks, and Grotsnark Da ClippaFifth is Grotsnark again, holding his twin linked dakkagun over his shoulder and mounted on his beast of a bike. Based on something I saw online and certainly a long way to go till it's finished, this is my wonderful new grot-a-naut. The sword's being switched out later, but serves it's purpose for now. The gun arm is going to be switched for canon bits to make an enormous grotzooka. Up on deck there is going to be a little krew of grots and other little things to make it a bit like a ship or pirate themed.Avast, ye gitz! Dis peg legged stompa be comin'!   edit: sorry for spoilering all the pics. I just leave them a bit big in case people want to get a closer view.
