The one that may surprise you most is that we will now be allowing xenos discussion on the B&C. Not is this forum of course, but the filthy xenos will have their own forums where you can post pics, wips, and discuss anything and everything regarding them. Basically we are now a full fledged 40K site and while we are now all inclusive expect much to remain the same, specifically the kind of community we foster here which has always been the defining part of who we are. I suggest you read Kurgan's full announcement here We have also updated the forum rules which I also suggest you take a look at here Finally in a bit of more local news I'd like everyone to take a moment to congratulate the newest member of the BT mod team, Canadian_F_H. His excellent contributions to our forum have been a great example of the kind of community we promote here and I know that he will continue to lead from the front like any good Templar! I can finally post my Eldar stuff here in one place. While losing some of the B&C main identity, it's a good move. As obviously it will allow current B&C members to post stuff outside of Imperium but would also think it'll bring in new crowds to add to our fine community. Off the bat thought and probably already thought of, future B&C wide painting challenges will now be fought across Imperium, traitors and xenos. All we have are the Index books, which present information for using your legacy armies in 8th edition. Once we start seeing 8th edition codices and see how the rules develop, we'll figure out whether or not any changes are necessary. SWORD BROTHER RYAN Posted June 19, 2017 Share Posted June 19, 2017 Canadian, you definitely deserve it. Congratulations! As for the xenos... I'm torn. This forum has refocused my attention solely on the Crusade, and it has grown much since my first postings. I also now have a LOT more stuff to put together to continue that growth. That said, I humble myself before my brethren by saying there were times I strayed. I did receive a large starter force of Tyranids from a friend several years ago, and have some painted, some primer coated, and some not touched by paint in any way. I was, and still am, thinking about selling this army off, as it stopped catching my attention and feels more like a chore to finish them off. I also have the starter kit of Necrons that I picked up and built, but have been collecting dust since stumbling across this forum unpainted and unused. I always kind of liked them, but as I said, this forum has rekindled the desire to acquire, build, and paint up the Crusade. So, I don't exactly know where to stand here. Just like Primaris and 8th ed, this is coming and we won't stop it, so of course it's accepted. I guess Black Templar eyes will stray over on the xenos side... just to keep a wary eye on those foul creatures. I will NOT be changing my screen name! I began in this hobby as a Black Templar, and will be so until the galaxy burns in flames or we bring the Emperor's light to all corners! Even if I stray into the halls of the xenos, It will be as SWORD BROTHER RYAN to remind all that a Black Templar their way comes! Now we can preserve valuable promethium for fueling up our Ships and aswell lives of the Holy Emperors servants. AND now use the saved promethium to fight the Xenos right here in our frontyard.
