In the frozen wastes of a forgotten sphere in Ultramar, a remnant of a forgotten behemoth stirs.....+feed+ it's connection to the Hive Mind restored, it quickly assimilates centuries of accumulated knowledge. The time for slumber is over, the time to hunt begins. This will be an ongoing army log and plog. Sabadin Posted July 9, 2017 Author Share Posted July 9, 2017 Finally found some time to resume work on the venomthropes, they're close to finished. Feedback is always welcomed and appreciated even though I don't plan take this army to the same standards as my marines( there's just to much to do lol). This paint scheme came about as the bulk of it is washes and drybrushing while still coming out decent. Combination of being a previously dormant splinter of Behemoth and the bright blue colour scheme. Those sacs on the backs looks disgustingly organic. Thank you. It's just Emperor's Children with a wash of fuegan orange then some nurgle's rot and nikilah oxide to taste. I love the blue on the flesh, how did you get the ribcages' bone effect? Have 10 hormagaunts done, 10 more are next up on the paint station. The gaunts are intentionally dark to mirror worker ants to signify their expendable status in the swarm.
