Spare points, need ideas.

I'm building a 1500 list for a league at my flgs and I don't know where to spend the last points.

List currently has: Voldus, 2 assault cannon razorback (bolter), 2 strike squad/purgators (5), 1 Paladin squad (5, 1 hammer) and 3 doomglaive dreadnoughts (bolters).

I have 104 points left to spend and not sure how.

Two options I'm pondering are :

- Upgrading Voldus to Draigo (50), increasing each strike squad to 6 (42) and 12 extra for some upgrades, like 2 hunter- killer missiles or psilencers on purgators or something similar.

- Purchasing a 5-man strike squad with no upgrades (with two extra points removing a razorback bolter).

Wich one do you think is better? Every suggestion is welcome.

An Assassin - you'll end up with a few spare points (throw hunter killer missiles onto the razorbacks for more AT punch?) but for their points, they're machines.

My suggestion to your list:
Remove the bolters from both Razorbacks. Drop the hammer from the Paladins. Equip the purgators with psilencers and take another one just like that one and put them both inside the Razorbacks. 1500 sharp.

I think that fixes it, but there are too many Dreadnoughts. You will need more bodies on the table.

There's already 2 power armor squads, one for each razorback. If I pick a third one it would have to be on foot.

The problem with more troops is that power armor units are super vulnerable and slow without transport, and paladins are expensive. What would you suggest instead of the dreads?

If you deepstrike the paladins you're going to get targeted a lot. You need strikes to go with them and force your enemy to split efforts and, if youg get assaulted and it's necessary, use command points to have counter-offensive and attack before your enemy does and damage the second assaulting unit.

Also, don't understimate Rapid Fire 2, having 10 guys shooting at 12" means 40 shots and you have to add smite and/or Purge Soul.

If you don't want to field more PAGK, I would try to take as many Paladins as possible. With my suggestion, 2 squads of 4 instead of 1 of 5 will do fine.
