The Pounder Posted June 30, 2017 Share Posted June 30, 2017 I've been thinking of starting a Tyranid swarm for years, but I'm very invested in my Death Korps of Krieg force so I thought I'd never get it off the ground. All that changed when my group started Shadow Wars Armageddon, my brother started a Tyranid Warrior kill team. With that in mind he bought the Start Collecting box (which is great value for money!) I saw my chance and offered to paint them for him. So Hive Fleet Mantis was born! I've kept the colours simple and started with all the models I thought were cool from the selection he has. My personal favourite is the Tyrannofex! Is there any advice I can give to my brother about where to go next? I love Tyranid models but have no clue as to what works! I know he wants to get Deathleaper, maybe some Hormagaunts?
