Ulthwé Craftworld - Which Units?

I'm tempted to build an Ulthwé army and while i'm aware of the classic units - Wraith units, Storm Guardians, Warlocks, Farseers. I'd like to know what else you guys might consider to fit in.

Would an Autarch possibly fit in?

Autarch is a thing, sure. A Farseer seems like a requirement, but with so many times a 2nd HQ is a requirement slipping in an Autarch seems like it wouldnt be out of character.

When the black guardian strike forces were a thing in the Eye of Terror campaign it was noted you could have one unit of aspect warriors other than Dark Reapers, and as many Reapers as you wanted. Back then the average battle was around 1500pts....

So I figure if you keep it to 1-2 aspect warriors, not including reapers, have a farseer, warlock(s), and guardian heavy then you are probably good to go.

Black guardians are noted for their webway assaults-- riding aboard jetbikes and piloting war walkers.  I'd imagine that a hemlock wraithfighter and a wraithseer making their way into your collection at some point would be a good idea to diversify your psychic delivery methods.

Ulthwé's shtick has always been that they have more seers, and more of its populace on the Path of the Seer means fewer on the Path of the Warrior.  Ergo, Ulthwé's armies have always consisted primarily of Farseers, Warlocks, and Guardians (since without Aspect Warriors, they need somebody to fight), and that includes anything that the Guardians pilot (ie, vehicles).  Now the Ulthwé Strike Force list from Codex: Eye of Terror also put severe limits on the size of war machines as a means of balance by citing that the webway tunnels they use are too small for Falcon-pattern grav tanks.  This in turn makes War Walkers and Vypers, in particular, quite representative of Ulthwé's armies as well.

My old USF list was a Seer Council, four Guardian Squads backed up by Vypers, War Walkers, and two squads of Dark Reapers (as was mentioned earlier, they were the only Aspect types that had no limitations).

I think the dark reapers were all at Ulthwé during the old 13th crusade because Maugan Ra called his aspect together from many craftworlds to help fight against Chaos. I don't think they are normally a particular part of an Ulthwé force more than any other aspect.

I think seer councils are their signiture unit, loads of warlocks, and black guardian squads of various sorts.

And then a mix of the usual stuff, but war walkers and wraithlords seems particularly fluffy to me.

True.  The fluff for Maugan Ra in the EoT was that he had gathered a massive force of his sons, joined with Ulthwé, and then set off into the Eye to find his home -- my Craftworld -- of Altansar.  They found it and guided it back to real-space, where the Altansarai joined the war against the Despoiler and his minions.  To be clear, though, I wasn't insinuating that Reapers are "more Ulthwé" than any other Aspect, just pointing out an aforementioned notation on their availability for the USF army list.

Interesting...thanks for all the fantastic feedback and details.

What are Ulthwé's reactions to the Ynnari?

Also i've got a list in mind but i can't fit vypers and war walkers though.
