Starting with Nids in 8 ed 101 (Nidzilla type)

Just to chime in. Ive had a lot of success running a balanced list.

 

My 2k and 2.5k lists vary but both have sizable amounts of overwhelming hordes to hold objectives. a cheap ripper swarm isn't a bad option to hide away on turn 3 for your opponents side of the field. So you are either guaranteed a shot at line breaker or you can steal an objective you need to claim. 55 points for 15 wounds isn't terrible either. and if your opponent shoots them they aren't shooting your important stuff.

 

I really love my Dimacheron. It has been in every list I've built this edition. As have two Mawlocs. The sheer savagery of mortal wounds they can dish out to gun lines is fantastic.

 

I have my first game actually using a Malathrope this week.
