I dig it a lot! :) @ Oem, some pretty Genestealers you got there. :D The dynamic re-posing on the bases adds a lot to what would otherwise be a horde of static poses. Oem Posted July 11, 2017 Share Posted July 11, 2017 @ Vel'Cona I even used a couple of old genestealers from Battle of Macragge starter set , since boxed stealers come in weird numbers, eight per one :P Still waiting to split Overkill box with someone, at least I have 23 acolyte hybrids in the pipeline ;P I absolutely love orks for they convertability I feel genestealer cult really allows for some nice kitbashing... neophyte cultists... astra militarum... Ganders Posted July 17, 2017 Share Posted July 17, 2017 So this was my cult army for my first game of 8th; http://i.imgur.com/3raakGi.jpg Its mostly from the overkill box and I made sure that my goliath was painted before I played. Neophyes were hopeless meat shields, Acolytes were dissapointing (against cataphracii though), Abberants didnt get a good ambush roll but still nearly took out the opposition warlord. Magus didnt get to do much, Primus was stuck in combat with a tac squad for most of the battle.
