750 point dark eldar list against harlequins
Posted 03 July 2017 - 02:58 PM
Succubus [4 PL, 76pts] Agoniser
Kabalite Warriors [5 PL, 117pts]
. 7x Kabalite Warrior
. Kabalite warrior with Heavy Weapon: Splinter Cannon
. Kabalite Warrior with special weapon: Blaster
. Sybarite: Blast Pistol, Phantasm Grenade Launcher, Power sword
Wyches [8 PL, 135pts]
. Hekatrix: Hekatarii blade, Splinter pistol
. 14x Wych
Incubi [5 PL, 90pts]
. 4x Incubi
. Klaivex: Klaive
Mandrakes [5 PL, 95pts]: 4x Mandrake, Nightfiend
Talos [7 PL, 127pts]
. Talos: 2 Splinter Cannons, Ichor Injector, Macro-Scalpel
Raider [6 PL, 116pts]: Dark Lance, Shock Prow
Total: [40 PL, 756pts]
The idea is that the wyches and talos foot slog up the board and stick to cover, the wyches being used as a tar put for the talos. The incubi will go in the raider with the succubus and go for backline or weaker units. The warriors will stay in the backline and capture objectives where possible. The mandrakes come in from reserves and character snipe where possible. Any c&c would be great

Well, Harlequins are pretty much melee specialists and imo better at it than Dark eldar so why not get some serious shooting? Splinter cannon Trueborn or something else will remove a Harlequin unit from the table every turn.
Also if you decide to stick to melee be sure to get the charge. On the charge they will demolish you.

Another is the Solitaire, those move incredibly fast and can destroy whole units by himself on the charge (depending on rolls of course).
Then are just the normal Harlequins. I've played 5 with Troupe master in a Starweaver and they move fast and hit pretty good in melee too.
A lot of stuff to watch out. If you can get the charge then you might stand a chance in melee but the other way around and you are doomed.
