Kaldoth's Black Legion Progress Log

Howdy all! So, both my grandfather and father have been painting miniatures for decades. Its kind of a family thing. My granddad was diagnosed with a degenerative nerve disease a while back, and its finally started to eat away at the nerves and muscles in his hands.  He still manages to crank out a miniature every once in a while, but he can barely hold a brush anymore.  He visited a few weeks ago and asked me if I had been painting lately, and I told him I hadn't been.  He was pretty disappointed that I wasn't carrying on in the family hobby, so I told him I would start picking my brushes up again.  So, I decided to make a painting log to help keep me motivated.  I am a dreadfully slow painter as is, and I've got very unreliable hands myself due to service related issues, but I still intend to post up progress here when I have something to show for it.  With the new edition arriving, there's no better time than the present to get back into the hobby, soooo here we go I guess!  First up is what I managed to finish today: Three blast master wielding Noise Marines. A lot of you have probably seen the WIP shots of these guys in a thread I made a week or two ago, but this is the finished product.  I have since put decals on all their shoulders, so minus bases they are done. I wont be basing anything until I've got everything I want painted done anyway. These are the first miniatures I've done in almost two years. Next up on the bench is the rest of their respective MSU squads.  I'm waiting on some sonic blaster bits to come in the mail, but I can at least get the bodies done.  C&C appreciated as always ^_^
