10 maraders with pistol/assault/ murder cultists on the charge is 20 hits

Against T3, 15 wounds

Against T4, 10-11 wounds

Against T5+, 6 or so wounds

 

Could make a good countercharge protection for gunline, but wouldnt want to waste a transport on them.

However if you were playing an ork horde or something, could take 10 man, 2 plasma, chimera w/2 Hvy Flamer. Jump out when he gets close and move to charge range. Flamers BS wasted on troops, i feel plasmas will be useful against nobs/warriors etc likely supporting the approaching horde
