Looks more at home in the Flash movie from the 80's than in 40k. It needs to come with the Queen soundtrack.

The 40k fluff explained to an outsider:

Some space elves got really into drugs and sex and a big scary monster got born that ate them.
A space wizard got beaten up by a guy who said he was his friend but wasn't and now he's on a life support machine and people worship him because he was super awesome.
Now there are giant men with rocket launcher machine guns and 4 hearts and are really super awesome who beat up everything.
Also there's a bunch of aliens but they don't really do anything and aren't as cool as the rocket machine gun super men, so who cares?

Love the design but it looks very strange compared to other 30k/40k designs....but then again most of the 30k adMech range looks strange compared to the Marine range. :D

One thing I don't like is how paper thin both 'Iris' things are. It looks like bolters should penetrate both with ease.

Also, is it a gun above the assault cannon? Because they forgot to make a hole for it whistlingW.gif

It is so bizarre, I hope it gets 40k rules so 40k sisters can ride in style. It will look fabulous on the tabletop and will be loltacular against the much greater amount of psychic witchery going on

It seems FW and GW are really going in opposite direction in term of design and I must say I really prefer the weird esoteric dunesque style over the more modern sci-fi look. This needs to come to 40k along with every single Custodes unit.

The fact that it so different from everything else in the 30k / 40k universe is exactly why I like this so much. Granted, it's a huge chunk of heavy resin (or at least the one at the Weekender was - maybe the design has been changed to make it lighter), but it's very unique and makes it stand apart from everything else.

Well it makes sense to be so different tbh. It's 10k years apart from eachother after all.

That is exactly how I see it. Really cool looking!

Damnation starts with little steps, by arrogantly thinking that you are wiser than our great forbears, by tinkering with truth, by compromising, by departing from the straight and narrow path of the Emperor’s light.

Ditto! My thoughts exactly! Looks awesome though, when SoS were first released I thought hrmm neat rules I could use some. Then I saw these pics floating around and decided I had to get them! My wallet is hurting horribly right now though. :(

It's supposed to be sinister and otherworldly so as to terrify the Imperial populace as the Sisters carry out their psyker cull.  See HH7: Inferno, pg 270.

These Sisters of Silence vehicles are so unsettling. They are a really good design. I won't buy any because I don't like the Sisters of Silence, but credit where it is due.

The wierd Gatling cannon thing is wierd. Is it supposed to be a rotating barrel assembly? Because the barrels aren't all the same length.
