Changing the color of the light showing from the torso and weapons to an orange has really made it look better. A much better contrast then the moot green.

This is starting to look more like it belongs to the Works In progress board, maybe?

 

On the topic itself - the color scheme does indeed seem nifty. i for one also will be using the Orange power-glow as well, rather tan the standard Green. I know it's a really popular alternative, but it really works better with some of the red/brown based color schemes.

 

I'm interested in your moss step when it comes to that.

 

Rusty models, hanging moss, swamp base... Swamp Thing army!

Yes, I suppose it does belong there, my apologies. I just wanted to get the feel for those who play necrons. I am just going to back over all of the green power colors with the orange then it will be on to the bases. I am getting ideas of other things to put on the bases besides the moss and other foliage. Thinking of adding some stumps as well.

So I have just purchased a lynchguard box. So I will be working on these guys soon. So when I get the 2 monoliths I think I will be caught up on enough models to start the basing. I wanted to do them all at the same time.
