Excellent work! A very impressive start :tu:

I don't really have too much to suggest. It looks like you've got excellent hand to eye coordination, and you've produced a neat finish. Personally I prefer black on the base rim, I think it looks a bit more professional, but that's just a personal opinion.

Also cropping the pictures that you post is a good idea too. If you help to get a nice clear shot, a cropped image will help to show of the detail a bit more.

Looking forward to seeing what you work on next :tu:

Nothing much to say, but good job. Kudos to you. Don't really have any advice to offer as I'm in the same boat as you, having painted about three miniatures in my 22 years in the hobby, currently 35 years old, but plan to remedy that soon too. I echo the point on the black base rim, but that's just personal preference.

Very solid effort and you should be proud of how they turned out.

Now go do some more. :)

That's not a dare, I just know that you learn more by doing and applying any knowledge you gain by looking at other people's efforts.

Also, always, always, always hold onto your first figure. Go back to it from time to time to see how you've progressed. It's a very interesting exercise and can be quite entertaining.

Cheers,

Looks good especially for a first mini

Wish my first minis had looked that good!

Right i started in age before the internet was wide spread and full of good content and tutorials, not did i have the maturity, patience or expendable income adulthood has given me.
