Progress is going well and I can show you my reivers soon to be finished!

Doing all the freehand on the kneepad was an interesting thing to do, to say the least... Happy with it though

You can expect some news laters this month as I'm playing with a few bits and pieces and started on the next unit :)

Those Reivers are so we'll painted, great work!

To echo the others, those Reivers are really excellently done.

Excellent as always, beautifully gritty.

Thanks brother, i was really looking forward to paint them, they would be even better with chainsword though

Redemptor posing is fantastic

Excellent work on the Inceptors. The Redemptor is well-posed.

Thanks brothers! I had to fiddle much more than I thought to move the kit this way, It's a bit strange when you compare it to a fw contemptor

Great stuff. Is there any shadowspear marines in the work at all?

I have the primaris part of the box and I'm building them, I'm actually working on the my librarian but I may do the infiltrators or eliminators with digital camo just after :smile.:

Oh and this happened hehe

Just saw this thread, and your painting is insane.

Do you have any tips on your preshading?

My biggest tip for preshading is it really depends of the colour, red is very dependant of preshading because the pigment are mostly transparent, so you can go to almost pure white to have a really bright red or slightly dark for a deepish red. yellow is the same, blue on the other hand tend to cover well and preshading is more a way to give you an idea of the highlight.

Otherwise It's a question of feeling, if you're using a rattle can or an airbrush keep it a 45° maximum from the zenithal light to give some light to the lower part and not just on the top part.

Does that help you?

Congrats on the Warhammer Community accolades. I really dig your paint style; just the right amount of weathering and battle damage. The Redemptor you're working on looks like it'll be imposing when finished.

Thanks, it's a big boy ! I didn't realise that from the picture!

Congratulations!

Thanks brother!

Congratulations! This Captain is showing pretty often during google searches as well :smile.: I'd say you made an iconic figure.

Be proud! I dare say: we all are proud for you :biggrin.:

Oh really? thank you very much
