Godeskian
So I'm finally stepping away from my Draigo and Paladins build, and am looking to make a generally good list. So can I get everyone's thoughts on Battalion 6 CP total. HQ Voldus GMNDK, teleporter, psilencer, psycannon sword Troops 3x 5 strike knights, 1 hammer Dedicated transport 3x AC Razorbacks Elite 2x 3 man paladins, hammer on the paragon. Psychic powers still to be decided, clocks in at 1491 points Since I expect tourneys will be played at the 2k mark that leaves me with 500 points for other stuff. Thoughts on this as the core of an army? Should I take a stormraven instead of the three razorbacks?
Adeptus
Stormravens are a lot of fun and can be very versatile, I'd have a go with one for a while and see how you like it. It certainly won't be hurting your list.

I was more considering if I'm better off with three razorbacks or over stormraven
Seizeman
That's a pretty solid start for a list. Right now I'm trying two lists that are pretty similar. The first one is just like yours, but with an extra GMNDK, 4 -man paladin squads (with 3 hammer each) instead of 3-man ones and an apothecary with a hammer (and no hammers on the strikes, the paladins make better use of them). This also gives you a vanguard detachment for an extra CP. The second one also adds a second GMNDK and substitutes one of the razorbacks for a stormraven that carries 10 strikes and voldus (I play 2 units of 5 strikes and one of 10). I only play a single 5-man paladin squad in this case. On a general note, try to have your paladins units to be at least 4 models and 2 hammers, they work much better that way. When I reach a conclusion on which one's better I'll let you know, but both work pretty well. The stormraven adds a new dimension (and much needed anti-tank firepower)to the army, but it is expensive, so you need to accomodate your list around it.
