Black Templar - Giving Back Flavor

A simple rule addendum for BT that would I think atleast partly help us flavorfully. Be a simple and basic rule change. That is incredibly easy to implement.

 

For Non-Elite or HQ Units without the Scout, or Crusader Squad Keyword

BT Infantry units may add up to 5 Neophytes to the Squad, for 3 Power.

BT Biker Unit may include up to 5 Neophytes Bikers for 4 Power

Whenever a BT Bikers Unit has an option to take a Special Weapon, replace it with following: they may instead take a Special Weapon, Power Sword, Maul, Ax or Fist

Whenever a BT Infantry Unit that could take a Heavy Weapon, replace it with the following: they may take Heavy Weapon, a Power Sword, Maul, Ax or Fist

Neophyte Bikers - 23 Points

Move 14" WS-3+ BS-3+ S-4 T-5 Wo-2 A-1 Ld-6 Sv-4+

Each Neophyte Biker is armed with Bolt Pistol, Frag and Krak Grenade. It may replace its Bolt Pistol with a Combat Knife or Astartes Shotgun. The SM Bike has a Twin Boltgun

 

Abilities:

And They Shall Know No Fear.

Turbo Boost.

Trainee: Any unit accomplied by Neophyte Bikers gains the Crusader Biker Squad Keyword. Additionally Neophyte Bikers gains the Keywords of any unit it joins that itself lacks. A squad joined by a unit with this keyword lose combat squad special rule.

Each Neophyte armed with a Boltgun, Bolt Pistol, Frag and Krak Grenades. It may replace its Boltgun with a Combat Knife or Astartes Shotgun

 

Abilities:

And They Shall Know No Fear

Trainee: Any unit accompanied by Neophyte gains the Crusader Squad Keyword. Additionally Neophyte gains the keyword of the Squad it is joining that it may lacks. A unit joined by a model with this special rule loses the combat squad special rule.
