Slave to Darkness
Some scenery I thought might inspire a few of you, first we have some of Shibboleths amazing work, and the rest are random things that showed up in google. http://68.media.tumblr.com/af6a0158caad9ba9f36fadd83b0b9740/tumblr_inline_oncqzolMrh1qbl3pi_500.jpg Brother Aiwass, MithrilForge, Machine God and 3 others 6 Back to top

Slave to Darkness
That's amazing. Yea man, when I get out of this hellhole where I'm living and get my own place I aspire to have a sweet ass board like that. Screw having a fancy livingroom.
Brother Aiwass
Yes man, living rooms are overrated. If I wasn't engaged my living room would be my workshop, I don't even like guests who don't come to get drunk or do geeky stuff. Slave to Darkness
The only non geeky guests I allow are guitarists. Standards must be maintained :D Not exactly Necromundaish but the idea of insects that are genetically modified (or rad infected from living in the sump) doing grim things grimly would be a good idea for a game or a mini campaign. So I would like to point y'all in the direction of this film, oh it also has a giant Roach/Human mutant and some other stuff that scared the crap out of me as a kid. Magos Takatus
Scary man-eating bugs eh? I painted up a Drycha Hamadreth for a friend and found he has two different kinds of bugs than can inhabit her person. The long skinny squirmlings (I think that's what they are called) would be great for underhive fauna. The somewhat reminded me of the giant millipede things that could inhabit the underhive (Millasaurs?) Take a look. https://www.games-workshop.com/en-GB/Sylvaneth-Drycha-Hamadreth

DaBoiKyknos
That film seems like it could be quite a good inspiration for this! " `Turbo Kid` (2015) In a post-apocalyptic wasteland in 1997, a comic book fan adopts the persona of his favourite hero to save his enthusiastic friend and fight a tyrannical overlord." http://www.imdb.com/title/tt3672742/ Edited September 11, 2017 by LordVelype Reyner 1 Back to top
walter h
If you watched ( Fear the Walking Dead),last night the market scene screamed ,Necromunda to me.Episode 309/310. Brother Aiwass 1 Back to top
Corsovitt
New series started in the UK last night Phillip k dick's electric dreams, first episode about an agent and a telepath in a dystopian future was very Necromunda.
Maatith
Seconding the Hood Maker - very run down and grim, if too much open sky to be at all natural for any (dis)honest folk!
Corsovitt
Thought that both the name "The Hoodmaker" and hoods which provided some protection against telepaths or wyrds could be used in a necromunda campaign for use by cawdor or redemptionists. Machine God
I always found that Hardware gives me the Necromunda vibes as does Salute of the Jugger. Edit: Spelling. Combat_Vet
The film Blood of Heroes could be argued to be more "Blood Bowl" than Necromunda. The living in the dead wastes and fighting for a chance to live among the cities always screamed "hiveworld" to me. Along with Mad Max 1&2 and Blade Runner it is my top inspirational movie for the 40k setting as a whole (especially necromunda). *even though mentioning it gives away my old age LoL Stoic Raptor 1 Back to top
Shockmaster
The Cannibals from The Bad Batch as Goliaths, I want my gang leader to look like Jason Momoa, would be epic. They don't feature much but when I watched the film a couple of weeks ago I instantly thought Goliaths since they are both muscle mass obsessed. DaBoiKyknos
Has the Manga/Anime "Battle Angel Alita" been mentioned before? It´s a bit like Ghost in the Shell, but far more grimey and brutal, basically a bunch of Cybots living on a place called "The Junkyard" (which pretty much just is what that name says) lifing und some ominous, unreachable sky-city called Zalem. It got Bounty-Hunters (called "Hunter-Warriors") who are sent to kill crazy cyborg criminals, much violence (quite hard stuff actually), gladiator fights and deadly cyborg roller-derby tourmanents ("Motorball"). If you don´t use it as a reference, just read it anyways. Edit: Oh yeah and Mars is the source of power-ful, long-lost technology, I don´t what influnenced what here! :D Edited November 21, 2017 by LordVelype Combat_Vet 1 Back to top
Antarius
Fields of the Nephilim always gave me a Necromunda vibe, both musically, thematically and look-wise. The combination of goth rock and western atmosphere just seems Necromundaish to me. Especially on the "Dawnrazor" album. I kinda want to translate that sound, as well as the look, to my Necromunda minis and terrain. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fields_of_the_Nephilim
Combat_Vet
Has the Manga/Anime "Battle Angel Alita" been mentioned before? I just read that Cyborg Angel was a new film set for release next year. I should have remembered Alita, as I started painting her models the same time I found 40K (early 2nd edition). After Ghost in the Shell and Bladerunner:2049 I am hoping for the best but preparing for the worst :)
