That zoom in on the cherub made me ... uncomfortable.
Not uncomfortable here, but I'm chuckling to myself. I'd be more uncomfortable if I was the sculptor that had to ensure the frank and beans were anatomically correct.

Would make a very good Templars Chaplain, very ornate gothic stylings. Wouldn't really fit mine, though; possibly not with many others.
Not sure quite that level of detail is required on the cherub...

Not a fan, way too chunky, these always look bad when cast.
Well would you look at the time, it's zombie o'clock!
LOTS of detail for a mini, but that's usually welcome!
Helm would almost make a very nice Lemartes.

Not true. I've see their designs in person, look really well. Not "chunky" at all, it's an illussion because of the zoom and the 3D gradient.
have yet to buy a "chunky" model from these guys

So cherubs made out of female babies would make you feel more comfortable ?
I dislike busy models in general. Not the style I like, but comparing to GW chaplains this one seems great, specially vs something like the terminator chaplain.
"Felix wondered how Calgar might feel about the primach's unilateral altering of the Codex Astartes. The captain could not help but feel that, in his drive for victory and efficiency, Guilliman had been careless with the feelings of his existing sons. Increasingly, Guilliman looked to the Primaris Space Marines as his first solution. He made no attempt to hide the fact that the days of the older space marines were numbered."

Looks great, I definitely want this for my templars. When is this available to order? I'm not seeing a preorder section on their website?
THE ZEAL COMETH
"My blood is the same colour as yours. And what I do, I do to protect Earth, same as you. You don't like how I do it, that's your prerogative. But there are things going on out there that you know nothing about. Threats to the human race that no one never hears about, because we stopped them. There are dangers all around us. And whether you like us or not, we may be all that stands between you and the abyss."

I'd buy that for a dollar!

They don't do preorders or set dates I think, they just reveal a mini and then soon after it's there in the shop somewhere down the road.
It's been a week or two between not-Abaddon's reveal and him being available.
Has some nice ideas and details, the skull helm in particular is quite nice - but overall it's a very busy model and substantially chunky in most areas.
Think it's a pass on my side, but GW should look at this as to how to do chaplains, the latest plastic Termi Chaplain is awful.
Talk about overloading a mini with needless detail; super-pass from me.
I thought the GW chaplains were bad with detail, this is worse than any of them apart from the limited release plastic terminator guy.
Busy and chunky though it may be, I kinda like it.
Way too busy-looking for my taste. But I do like the scroll-surfin' cyber baby.
Marneus Calgar is referred to as "one of the Imperium's greatest tacticians" and he treats the Codex like it's the War Bible. If the Codex is garbage, then how bad is everyone else?

Yeah, that's kinda cool.
I liked WarEx's older models, but their new ones seem to put a lot of chipped edges everywhere, which overloads the model with detail and doesn't help the already exaggerated proportions of the details. I prefer FW's clean and less-heroic scale aesthetic, although the WarEx cars and female Commissars are really great.
