It's time for something new, or rather something old, something that was initiated yet never followed through due to lack of time, inspiration and to be honest; other more shiny projects.

Yet with the arrival of the 8th, and recent rumblings at Forge World indicating a long time indeed for the Heresy to see 8th ed rules, I stand without a viable force to engage the Alien, the Heretic and the Daemon.

An army I need and an army I shall have.

Ghost Legion, art-scale.. Primaris.

It will do.

The chainblade is my own design, influenced by the Knight Reaper Chainsword and the Mk II "thunders edge" chainsword used by forgeworlds Mk II and mk III assault/reaver squads.

The Pantheon pattern dreadnought uses a lot of parts of the grey knights dreadknight, among them the legs :)

Neither, it uses the Redemptor Dreadnought ruleset, S7 T7 W13. I don't care for the redemptor model yet it's a good unit so I thought I would make use of the old dreadknight I had collecting dust in an old bitz-box.

Really cool, especially "Exodus". Only nitpicking from my part - the Dreadnought base is too small! Redemptors use bigger bases anyways afaik, so you'll have to change that up :happy.:

Thanks guys, well I am getting a bigger base för the walker, it's more of a stand-in kind of deal so I could snap a photo. :)

Laernean Harrow-squad

Utilizing heavily reworked Mk X-Alpha battleplate reinforced with metaplas alloys derrived from Fellblade hullplating, integrated refractorfieldgenerators

and advanced teleportation-arrays the Laernean assault harrows are ideally suited for Zone-Mortalis operations, boarding-actions and fixed-point assaults.

While much heavier than standard Mk X-Alpha warplate, the Mk X-b warplate is equally swift due to a an adamantium exo-rig and, most importantly, a

miniaturized automantic arc-reactor wich ensures that the massive power requirements of the battleplate and its integrated weaponsystems are met.

Well, time flies and I am really bad at updating - I have built an entire army now, tanks, dreadnoughts, bunch of infantry and I have finally, finally broken out the aribrush.

I'll have some models done for you to enjoy by sunday.

Until then..

EMBERS OF THE AGE OF DARKNESS

The sky rained steel and fire.

For three weeks the PDF had resisted the invaders, twenty-one days that blurred into a morass from exhaustion, sleep depravation, hunger and constant andrenaline-stauration. Resistance. Well, if you count running for your life and shooting at anything that moved resisting trooper Nella thought sourly, how is a man supposed to fight against an 8-foot transhuman monster, even worse; one armed with a boltcannon half the size of said man and armoured like a walking tank? In all honesty it had not been a series of battles; it had been a string of one-sided slaughters, and what made it worse was that those lightning-clad horrors seemed to enjoy themselves, filling trophy-racks with severed heads, nailing severed hands to their armour and draping themselves in the flayed skins of their victims.

And now this - Nellas platoon, well, what was left of the company wich was more or less a platoon, had infiltrated the spaceport - hoping to sabotage the orbital arrays and maybe blow up the fuel depot. But now that day from three weeks back had started all over again, the air thrummed an shook with hypersonic booms, flashes of light blossomed in low-orbit from dying ships and dropcraft streaked like fiery comets across the pale blue summer sky.

They could hear the echoing sharp rattle and bangs of boltcannon-fire and the shrieking pressure-shocks lascannon discharges. And then the skullsplitting roars of burning retro-thrusters and micro-eathquakes of drop-pods. Nella peeked out from behind the cargo-crate he used as cover and saw three.. no five! of the midnight horrors sprinting across the open field by the Governor's hangar towards the commandtower, skins flapping like morbid wings behind them.

With the forde and ound of a thunderclap the side of the hangar erupted in a cloud of dust and spinning rockcrete fragments, showering the nearby reavers and forcing a few to the ground. From the grey cloud of dust a massive form of azure and steel hurled itself at the stunned warriors in midnight clad, its every step shaking the very earth.
