Right now I got these two lists, and would love your thoughts about them! List 1 HQ Magos Dominus Magos Dominus ELITES Domitar TROOPS 20 Thralls, laslocks, rite of pure thought 4 Castellax, siege wrecker, multimelta, mauler bolter cannons and bolters 3 Castellax, darkfire cannons, bolters, enhanced target erray FAST ATTACK Vulturax HEAVY SUPPORT Thanatar Siege Automata 3 Myrmidons, gravitation imploders Rides in a triaros LORD OF WAR Atrapos Knight List 2 HQ Magos Dominus, cyber familiar Magos Dominus, cyber familiar TROOPS 10 Thralls, mitra-locks, rite of pure thought 20 Thralls, laslocks, rite of pure thought 4 Castellax, siege wrecker, multimelta, mauler bolter cannons, frag grenades and bolters 3 Castellax, darkfire cannons, bolters, enhanced target erray FAST ATTACK Vulturax HEAVY SUPPORT Thanatar Siege Automata 4 Myrmidons, gravitation imploders Rides in a triaros LORD OF WAR Atrapos Knight Both lists clock 2500pts. Ultramarinebo Posted September 21, 2017 Share Posted September 21, 2017 I like the cheap HQ choices, so easy to over spend with mechanicum HQ's. I think the second list will be more effective, if you can bulk up those fearless thralls to 20 models. I'd reccommend the chain blades. I'd be putting as many thralls on the table as you can! I fielded an atrapos a few days ago and surrounded it with fearless models so nothing could get in Assault or melta range, with the ionic flare shield it will endure anything. Take that first unit of Thralls, bump it to 20, and add heavy chainblades, carapace armour AND Revenant Alchemistry - Hatred ftw! :) I reckon Machinator Arrays are mandatory on those Domini. Not sure where to find the points, but it will make them much more survivable and useful. Maybe drop a Castellex and/or a Myrmidon? Did you have a plan to make them Loyalist or Traitor? Will open up options if you choose Traitor (ie. Scoria, Inar Satarael, future Dark Mechanicum rules in "Angelus")... Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
